We’re excited to announce that our family reunion will be hosted at the Embassy Suites, Old Town Alexandria—a comfortable and convenient location for our gathering.
Room Rates:
King Suite: $189/night
Double Suite: $209/night
Adjoining rooms are available upon request for families who want to stay close together.
Booking with the hotel means reduced parking fees, free breakfast, and access to our executive suite, which we will have open throughout the reunion, where we will hold snacks and supplies for everyone to enjoy.
NOTE: The average cost for a hotel in Old Town Alexandria, VA, during the summer is likely to be between $160 and $260 per night, and could increase next year, as it will mark the 250th anniversary of the U.S.
The hotel is ideally located with Whole Foods and CVS right behind the building and the Metro station just steps away, providing quick access to Washington, D.C., for sightseeing and activities.

Plane
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA): ~4 miles away (~10–15 minutes by taxi, rideshare, or Metro).
Metro Option: Take the Blue or Yellow Line from Reagan National to King Street–Old Town Station (about 2 stops).
Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD): ~30 miles away (~45–60 minutes by car).
Public Transit Option: Take the Silver Line Metro from Dulles to Rosslyn, then transfer to the Blue Line toward Franconia–Springfield and exit at King Street–Old Town.
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI): ~40 miles away (~60–75 minutes by car).
Train Option: Take the MARC or Amtrak from BWI Rail Station to Washington Union Station, then connect to an Amtrak or Virginia Railway Express (VRE) train to Alexandria.

Travelers arriving from outside Virginia can take Amtrak to Alexandria Union Station (ALX), located at 110 Callahan Drive.

Car
From I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway):
Take Exit 176B (VA-241 North/Telegraph Road) toward Alexandria.
Merge onto Telegraph Road North and continue for about 1 mile.
Stay in the left lane to take the ramp toward Duke Street / VA-236 East.
Turn right onto Duke Street (VA-236 East) and follow it for approximately 1.5 miles.
Turn left onto S. Washington Street (US-1 North).
Continue straight into the heart of Old Town Alexandria—you’ll find shops, restaurants, and historic sites all around!
Driving Directions from Washington, D.C. to Old Town Alexandria and the hotel:
Take US-1 South (Jefferson Davis Highway) out of D.C.
Cross the 14th Street Bridge into Virginia.
Continue on US-1 South for about 7 miles.
Turn left onto King Street to enter the heart of Old Town Alexandria.
The hotel is just across the street from Alexandria Union Station—about a 2-minute walk.
The station is situated directly next to the King Street–Old Town Metrorail Station, providing easy access to Metro services.
A free King Street Trolley runs from the Metro station down to the waterfront, stopping at shops and restaurants along the way.
Tip: If you’re carrying luggage, you can walk across Callahan Drive to reach Embassy Suites.
